Volunteer Opportunities
Are you a high school student needing to fulfill 40 hours of Community Service? Why not do these hours with us? We have plenty of things for you to do and it would be fun too! Call the RecPlex at 392-2811 ext.3361 to get started.
The Rec Association is always seeking adult volunteers to assist with or facilitate various programs. If you have a special talent and would like to volunteer your services, give us a call.
Employment Opportunities
All employment opportunities with the Recreations Association are posted at www.jobbank.gc.ca when they come available.
Positions may include:
Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, Aerobics Instructor, Recreation Assistant, Skating Instructor, Arena Attendant.
Certification is required for all positions except for Craft Instructors. In most cases, staff must have a current First-Aid and CPR Level C certification in addition to the certification required for the specific positions.
Resumes may be dropped off at the RecPlex, to the attention of the Recreation Director or Recreation Coordinator. Please include a photocopy of your certifications. Thank you.
