Facility Membership Fees

1 December 2009 to 31 August 2010
Prices are reduced by 20% each quarter. Reductions occur 1 Dec, 1 Mar and 1 June each year.

Members are required to bring proof of entitlement to purchase a membership. Acceptable proof would be an employee ID Card, Certificate of Service Photo ID Card, etc. If purchasing membership for a dependent (family member), please see Definition of Dependent information.

All prices include GST

* Your membership includes access to the RecPlex, Gymnasium, RCAF Arena & Albatross Outdoor Pool.
* It is for casual use of the facility and does not include any programs & services.
* Regular Members include: Family members of the Regular & Reserve Force, family members of foreign military personnel on duty with the Canadian Forces.
* Ordinary Members include: Retired military personnel, civilian public & non-public employees, retired civilian employees in receipt of an annuity, widows of former members of the CF, full-time DND contract employees, members of the RCMP.
* Restricted Access Hours: During the hours of 11:30am to 1pm Monday to Friday, access to the Gymnasium is restricted to military personnel and full-time civilian employees. During the hours of 10pm to 6am, the Gymnasium is restricted to military personnel only.
* Members are required to present their membership cards to Reception when accessing the facilities
* Cost of replacing a lost card: $ 10 + GST = $ 10.50

• A spouse of the qualifying member.


• Children 21 yrs of age and under who are living at home, or children attending a college or University full-time.


• Members purchasing a membership for common-law spouses MUST present an affidavit certifying that they qualify for common-law status as recognized by the CF. This information is available on a member's MPRR.


• Members purchasing a membership for full-time students attending College or University MUST present a copy of their childs student card.


• Members who wish to purchase a membership for parents or other relative residing with them MUST show proof that DND or the CF recognizes that person(s) as the members dependant(s) (family member). This proof would be in the form of a message from NDHQ Ottawa giving ministerial authority to include other members as legal dependants.


• An infant is 6 months to 5 years of age.
