BFT Training & Testing

Currently the Fitness and Sports Flight offers the Battle Fitness Test to Military Members requiring this Fitness Standard on alternating Fridays.

For deployment purposes, and/or for high readiness requirements for the BFT, please contact the Fitness Coordinator Lisa Refausse at 3328 or by email refausse.e@forces.gc.ca

Work up programs are available on request. It is highly recommended that the member follows the suggested workouts leading up to the test.

The member is responsible for kit. The fitness cell will book transportation and training rifles. The time requirement is 2:26:30 with a minimum of a 10 minute rest followed by a 100 metre casualty carry. The kit/weight requirement is 24.5 kg, including all equipment.
