Community Services

8 Wing / CFB Trenton offers a wide range of services, facilities and amenities. The Siskin Centre, home of the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre, is a focal point of our community with its full-service day care facility, a teen centre, and a venue for numerous conferences and special events during the course of the year.

Many major improvements to our infrastructure and support programs have been completed or are underway. Some of these new facilities include the RCAF Flyers Memorial Arena, an extensively renovated south side gymnasium, two high standard accommodation facilities, a centralized Yukon Galley all-ranks dining facility and Middleton Park's community "RecPlex" which boasts a 25-metre pool and indoor recreation centre. A major expansion of the RCAF Memorial Museum is underway. We look forward to more base improvements in 2007-2010.
