PSP

8 Wing/CFB Trenton is the largest military air base in Canada and is the largest employer in the Quinte area. Our personnel are involved in almost every major operation the Canadian Forces undertakes, both here, at home, and abroad.

In order to maintain such a high state of readiness, personnel at 8 Wing/CFB Trenton must be prepared, mentally, physically and emotionally. Personnel Support Programs (PSP) play a key role in maintaining and enhancing that readiness. The mission of PSP at CFB Trenton is to support operational effectiveness, enhance the morale and efficiency of our members and foster a happy and healthy military community.

Our vision is to continue to provide and seek out the best possible level of service through dynamic Fitness and Sports programs, creative and diverse Community Recreation programs, Mess events and initiatives, special interest activities and a proactive communications strategy, both internal and external. Services are available to the 8 Wing/CFB Trenton military community, with some services available to the general public as well, such as golfing, swimming, day care and others.
