The Shilo Housing Management Office (HMO), located at 78 Kingston Ave, began on 01 April, 1997. CFHA is responsible for the management, maintenance and project implementation for DND Housing across the country. As of 01 April, 2007 there are 667 housing units in Shilo.
General Inquiries and Trouble Calls can be directed to 765-3000 ext 4111 during regular working hours, 0730-1600 hrs Monday to Friday.
After hours and weekend emergencies can be called in to out toll free number at 1-800-903-CFHA (2342).
Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off
Shilo residents are now able to drop off household hazardous waste at the disposal bin located at the CFHA office. Many items are accepted, including paint cans, aerosols, batteries, and engine oil. You can contact CFHA to find out if specific products are accepted.
Occupants wishing to use this service must drop off the items during regular working hours. For safety purposes the bin is locked and a log will need to be signed when items are dropped off.
We are very excited with this base initiative. The household hazardous waste bin will help the environment by ensuring that hazardous waste is disposed in a safe and proper manner.
The program provides services to military members and their families who are mandated to relocate by their employer as well as relocate for their retirement.
Services consist of counselling on securing accommodations, House Hunting Trips/Destination Inspection Trips, Travel to New Location, Interm Lodgings, the movement of Household Goods and Effects, and the reimbursement of entitlements based on the CF Integrated Relocation Program.
